  1. Superly awesome

    Jackie Lim

I have tried several brands & these are by far my favorite. The black fabric covering is less slippery than the “cute” fabrics used in most reusable pads. I have had no problem with them moving around or with leakage. My only issue with these and with every other reusable pad i’ve tried is odor. I spray some FDS feminine deodorant on in the morning & it helps.

love these pads, I’ve used them for 3 cycles so far and its a huge relief not having to worry about if i have a box of pads laying around for when my period comes, i have these!! no more stress, no more costs of natural disposable pads. i love this product!! they’re easy to wash too. for me, i just spray them with some natural stain remover and wash them with my other dirty clothes. i have never had to presoak mine or anything! amazing product!

  3. I Usually HATE things like this

    Hui Xin

I am super for the environment unless we are talking about period comfort. I was VERY skeptical. It’s the real deal. My husband asked me the other day if they were comfortable and I forgot I was wearing it. Love them! They do not have the adhesive so no more accidental crotchless underwear.

  4. One of my best purchases!

    Jo.Ling

These reusable pads are incredible. I’m a teenage girl who has been using pads for years and decided to try these out. I got these over other reusable pads due to the neutral colors, as I didn’t want anything patterned. These pads make my period so much more comfortable! The lining is super soft and most of the time I forget that I’m even wearing anything. I personally don’t mind rinsing these out when they’re full. I roll it up and run water through it while squeezing, then I unroll it and continue to gently wring it until the water runs clear. After that I throw it in the wash (unrolled! if you close it back up, it tends to smell bad after taking it out of the dryer. happened the first time and have left them unrolled since.) I would recommend getting two sets of 6 unless you are just trying them out. I no longer use disposable pads and don’t plan on ever using them again! I feel much more comfortable and get relief out of not producing as much waste as one would using disposable pads.

  6. Very convenient, great purchase

    L.O

Very absorbent and comfortable and easy to wash. I carry these in my pouch to work in a small hand bag and always have them on the go! The only thing that I would personalize is the size of the pad. I personally use overnight sizes because I have a heavy follow for the first three days but these are perfect to use with a menstrual cup for the first three days then use without the cup.

  7. Will Never Use Regular Pads Again!!

    Ms oNG

Literally a dream come true, I think they’re perfect. I don’t experience any wetness, leakage, smell, or anything negative. They are so reliable and SO comfortable. I just throw them in the wash and dryer with the rest of my normal clothes and they come out clean and smelling fresh. I wear them on even the heaviest days of my period. Just phenomenal.

Yes this is definitely a 5 starS.. so I stop using the pads because it’s has chemicals. This is like you are just wearing a panty super easy.. no problem at all you can put the used ones in the pouch then wash it home.. plus you are helping the earth for all this tampons / pads Garage

Just finished my cycle and I have to say I simply love these! Compare to when I was on disposable pads, I did not have any itching, did not have it shift the pad or anything at all. At first, I was rather confused about whether or not blood was in the pad but when I got to the sink to clean them… there was definitely a lot. Also, you can wear a pad for hours without truly worrying about it.
Great product! Definitely will buy more!

  10. best pad

    Bloade

I am still fairly new to the cloth pad world, and I was a little nervous coming into it, but these ROCK! My period isn’t as heavy as most girls, so I can wear one pad per day! Easy to wash as long as you remember to use cold water and no fabric softener! The snap buttons keep them snug in your panties so they don’t move around. The wet bag is a great addition. And they’re honestly very comfortable and really don’t cause odors!

  11. light to moderate

    Lonw

Nice for my light to moderate days. The way the wings are sewn help make the pads fit a tad bit better than other ones I’ve bought. But they can still slip out of place just like all of the reusable pads I’ve had but I don’t mind too much.

  12. worth it

    B.H

Love these pads. I bought them and another cheaper brand and I regret buying the cheapies. These fits perfectly without any excess dangling between your legs(so annoying). The length is about the same as a regular disposable pad and it’s easy to wash. Gonna invest in the larger size because these are quality from the fabric to the stitch. The difference from the others is undeniable.

I really like these. I have light periods now thanks to my birth control, and these are more than sufficient to get me through the day. They wash really well (I hang them to dry) and I appreciate how you can roll them up and snap the wings around the pad to keep the used side contained until you can wash them all. The waterproof reusable bags is also really convenient for using these out of the house. I chose this brand over similar products from different manufacturers based on how high quality these seemed in the listing. So far, after ~4 months of use, I can say I highly recommend them!!

  15. stay alot

    q.m

These are soft and stay in place. The brushed bamboo in the center of the pad works better after first wash. I wash in machine and air dry. Dries fast. The carrying bag does not make for ease in storing pads, not quite the correct size

  16. Reusable menstrual pads, Awesome!

    Pete Shirley

I’d decided to buy reusable menstrual pads for the first time because I am tired of buying more pads due to my constant period which I have a birth control implant). I got them today and tried it on. It felt soft and gentle on my skin and I really liked it because the disposable menstrual pads sometimes irritated my skin due to its plastic edges. I wish the HighOh sells long/overnight pads, but I am still happy with what I have right now. If they sell long/overnight pads, I would definitely purchase.

These reusable pads work very well. The only downside is that they are uncomfortable. I have tried two brands and both feel the same. I suppose I am used to the light feeling of a thin disposable pad.

  19. Best pads ever!

    PrincessL

These are great! First, they reduce the waste that goes into our landfills. Second, they are much more comfortable than disposable pads. Third, they are much easier on underwear since there is no adhesive that pulls on the fabric. Fourth, they hold up well and protect your underwear regardless if it’s light or heavy flow. There is a snap that closes on the bottom to attach it in place, and there are two snap options to get the right fit. They are surprisingly comfortable and soft, a fleece type fabric. It’s a great pad and I highly recommend them.

  20. 5.0 out of 5 starsAbsorbant, durable & easy to care for

    Megan Will

I love these things. They stay put and absorb like crazy! Washing them can be a bit of a pain but I’ve gotten used to it. I wash them by hand in a bucket, first with Epson salt and washing soda, then rinse with vinegar to really get everything out. Maybe they’ll come clean for you in the washing machine, but they never do for me so hand washing is the way to go.

I think the length is perfect and they’ve held up so well through dozens and dozens of washings. I honestly wouldn’t change a thing!

    Loki

Love love love these. Depending on the undies you’re wearing, they can slide around a bit. The charcoal infused fabric really cuts out any blood smell. I love them! And no chafing that can happen with those awful disposable plastic ones. Also no changing every couple hours to avoid TSS. You can just use them til it’s full and time for a new one. I haven’t been able to test it on a heavy flow day yet

I just received these yesterday, washed and began using them. They are pretty comfortable and so far don’t seem to move around a lot. I use pads to catch anything my menstrual cup misses (after having a baby… well…). So far, so good! They are easy to wash/dry, soft, comfortable, and so far have caught the small amount that has leaked. I’d recommend getting a pack of these if you’re tired of wasting money on disposable pads or you’re going zero waste.

  26. Never Going Back to Disposable

    Charolleet

Hi! I just got using these for my most recent period. I was looking for an eco-friendly alternative to pads; I found it! Although it’s not the only option for reusable menestral products—I am most familiar with pads. Washed them and they’re not even stained!!! Also surprised with how much blood it holds. // To wash. Rinse in hot water (I use my tub) and then when the waters is clear I put them in the washer, then dryer, then DONE. // These are so much cheaper than Etsy pads and not having to buy disposable also saves money (AND THE PLANET).

  28. Wonderful Product with Pros and Cons

    F. Herley

Now, first I would like to explain why I purchased this product. I know a lot of people may want them for environmental reasons and to help cut back on waste, but I never looked into this product for such a reason. I have never been able to use tampons comfortably so I have ALWAYS used pads but within the past year I have been forced to use tampons due to my allergic reaction to adhesive. Yes, I end up with horrible sores from the adhesive from anything ranging to band-aids to pads which caused me to be incredibly uncomfortable for longer than necessary. So to cease having the horrible rashes on my thighs and other places, I had to find an alternative.

    So,

    Pro:
    – No adhesive! For those of us with an allergy to adhesives and don’t want to break out from a tiny bit of adhesive touching your skin. Just a simple snap that is easy to snap into place.
    – Cost cutting. Sure its a hefty cost for a purchase or two to adjust with your need, but these things will last.
    – Environmental Friendly. For those are all planet-conscious and such as these are cloth and washable.
    – Easily washable. Simply rinse out in the sink and then toss them in with normal laundry; simple as that.

    Cons:
    – A bit “thick”. Now these aren’t really that thick by any means but for someone who is used to ultra-thin pads, it’s a change.
    – A paranoia of slipping. Due to being used to years of set positioning from adhesive pads, you may have a simple paranoia of the pad shifting out of place. Do you flow forward or back and did it slide the the other way? For someone who wears super baggy clothes all the time, the thought was on my mind.
    – Thick. Again, not really that thick, but in regards to this idea of “thickness” it creates an extra heat layer. I work in a restaurant where it gets really hot so these are not practical for use at work or I’ll over-heat, but this will not relate to everyone.

Though I gave it only 4 stars out of comfort, this could be debatable per person, I mentioned my use of ultra-thin so that is why the comfort factor is one down for me. This is comparable to a Regular-sized pad.

So would I recommend? Yes, but you would have to see if it fits to 100% of your life or just 50% of it. For me, even if only for 50% of the time they are work it for me.

I cannot comment on absorbency of the pads as I do not have heavy flow, but for people with super light to regular it seems to work for me.

  29. Best fit out of cloth pads I’ve tried

    jane luk

I love this brand of cloth pads and will be buying more. They’re easy to wash, I throw mine in the dryer and they hold up just fine. The reason this brand is so great is how the wings are designed. They do not go all the way to the end of the pad like other brands do. This makes it so that it doesn’t bunch up your underwear. These also feel much less bulky due to the wing design. I would highly recommend these. The black is classic and discreet.

  33. SO SOFT

    HelenaP

They are SO SOFT. I have a problem with disposable pads rubbing and chaffing my skin and causing a rash. These are unbelievably soft, it’s like your vag is on a cloud.

These particular ones aren’t as long as a normal pad, so they would suit daytime a lot better vs. overnight pads or if you tend to bleed more towards the back. However, the fabric hugs you a lot better than plastic pads, so they seem to catch bleeding a lot better, and I don’t bleed over the back of these as bad as I do disposable pads.

I love that they have two button options so you can adjust them to be tighter if you have panties that have a thinner width.

    Veron.Q

Wow, Highoh! You’ve won me over for good. After years and years of dreading my cycle, it’s finally something I feel I have ownership over. I started using a menstrual cup about two years ago, and I quickly learned to love it – but cloth pads were something that really scared me. I’ve always had a very, very heavy and long cycle. I was convinced that cloth pads would never be anything but an additional burden. I’m thrilled to say I was wrong! They are so comfortable, feel WAY cleaner than a disposable pad (even for my very heavy days!), and they are easy easy easy to clean and maintain. I LOVE knowing that I’m creating way less waste and saving money in the meantime, too. I recommend these to everyone! Keep up the great work, ladies!

  35. WONDERFUL pads, highly recommended

    Awep

    I absolutely LOVE these pads.
I am trying to get to zero waste as close as possible and I do it gradually so I don’t overwhelm myself all at once.
I started with making my own cotton rounds for removing my make up or getting my nail polish off. Then I switched to reusable paper towels, I make my own beeswax wraps and then I switched to period panties. Sometimes the period panties weren’t enough so I went online and tried to find a solution to my problem, and THERE they were: reusable pads, GENIUS.
I can’t live without them anymore. They are comfortable and have snap buttons for easy on and off. Just great!! Comes with a water proof bag for on the go.
I read some reviews of customers complaining that they move around when worn. Well, mine don’t and I always wear them on the loosest snap. I always wear period panties with the pads, maybe that makes a difference? ( I am 5’4″ and 128 lbs )
Now I am wondering if they make reusable pads for thongs?? I will check that out right after finishing this review. I will definitely buy more of these pads and everybody should own them. Save the world, one pad at a time. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!! Period!
Oh… and the throwaway kind always irritated me, sometimes to the point of chafing my skin open. Just rubbed me the wrong way.

  36. Its like I hit the lottery

    Gredele

I admit, I was quite skeptical trying these but a friend swear by these and insisted on it. My first thought was Gross! Who would try such a thing. I am pleasantly surprised by these pads. I thought I’d be walking around feeling like I was wearing a diaper but not at all. They are very comfortable, and they don’t slide around. I thought I would try these out in a type of situation where I once had such an embarrassing accident. So, for the ultimate test I wore a very very short dress to a party. I didn’t couple with a tampon. It was do or die time. I was sitting and standing, and danced half the night. I was all smiles at the end of the night. Nothing slid, and I didn’t have to adjust or keep running to the bathroom. I was a very happy camper. The absorbency is amazing. Even sleeping in them is comfortable. I didn’t keep jumping up in the middle of the night thinking I messed up my white sheets. I toss and turn a lot. But when I wake up, I’m all smiles. I only bought one kit, but I think two sets is perfect. My only complaint is that the bag the pads come in is very small and they will not lay flat inside the bag without trying to bend the ends. I realize the bag isn’t necessarily a carry case for them to lay flat, but it would be nice to have a longer bag to keep them in when they are not in use.

These really work well. I’m using them for bladder leaks. I use large disposable pads to contain the urine; sometimes a few a day. The disposable pad sticks to the HighOh cloth and stays in place – limiting leaks around the pad. I could wear the same pad for longer than a day (ew! I don’t!). If I’m home, I don’t have to use the big disposable. This has been a significant improvement in my life.

  38. OUTSTANDING Product

    Jennette.P

This is one of the best things I’ve purchased in years and years. They work! They are comfortable. The snaps stay snapped (unlike adhesives which loosen when damp). They are like brand new after multiple washings. I’ve saved so much money on buying “leak” pads (just regular Always pads which I like a lot, but this product far surpasses everything). I have already turned many friends onto them. I use a small zipper wash bag to wash them so I don’t lose them amongst clothes, and they wash up wonderfully. Just in case they ever changed them, I ordered many many of them so I have a supply to last a lifetime, even though I keep using the same 5-7 every week so far. I can’t say enough good things about this product. Especially the comfort and the security knowing they won’t go anywhere no matter how hot or sweaty I get. The little carry bag is helpful too, though I’ve not needed to change it mid-day (it’s for “I”m getting older” leaks, not periods, which I am past). Just an outstanding product.

    Janet.A

I wish they were a little bit longer and I wish the wet bag was a wet and dry bag so you could use for travel but I like the double snap for different sized underwear and they are very comfortable.easy to wash and dry. I switched to cloth pads because disposables gave me a rash every month and I was so sick of it.this is my first month in years that I haven’t gotten one.its definitely worth the switch.

  41. A Pleasant Surprise (+Pros and Cons)

    Com.Y

I have had such trouble with sanitary products for years. My skin is delicate, so I struggle wearing pads (which give me rashes) and tampons are uncomfortable and easily grow bacteria. So, after years of trying different products and even trying to sew my own pads (which did not turn out well), I bought these. And I’m surprised to say, they work amazingly well. I’ve had them for three months and, though they took a while to get used to, I absolutely love them! But with everything there is always pros and cons. Here are mine (slight graphic language…but with the utility of this product, what can you expect?).

    Pros:
-They are super comfortable. Not only are they gentle on my skin (I no longer get rashes as I did with disposable pads), but they feel light as well.
-They are easy to use. There are tutorials online, but these are so easy to use you don’t need a tutorial.
-They seem to hold more than regular pads. This depends on the type of pads you used before, I’m sure, but the regular ones I used had to be replaced more frequently then these.
-If you’re at home, they are super easy to wash (either in the washer or sink). Even if you are out of the house for the day, the product comes with a waterproof bag, so you can easily change when you’re at work, school, etc.
-When I travel with them, they take up less room in my bag then a box of tampons or disposable pads would.

    Cons:
-They don’t always stay in place with rigorous exercise. They are fine when I’m walking or doing yoga, but when I go for a run they tend to get out of place easily.
-They are high maintenance on trips. I took a trip with them and washed them in hotel sinks. They were not dry by morning, and more of a hassle then disposable ones.
-While they are breathable, on a hot day they are also super hot (though disposable pads are even worse).
-It is hard to tell when they need to be changed. Very little blood is visible on the top layer of fabric, so it’s hard to tell when it’s full or not. When I first started using them, once in a while blood seeped over the sides because I didn’t change it enough. With disposable pads, it’s easy to see when it’s full.

All in all, I’m really impressed with this product. After using it for three months, I see no wear and tear. In a year or so, I’ll let you know how they hold up.

  42. Super comfortable and pretty absorbent

    Mar.H

Well I will first admit I haven’t been able to wear these with an actual period yet (as I am pregnant) but I ran a little test with my daughter to see how much liquid it would hold and how fast it would absorb. I was impressed, as soon as the water hit the pad it sucked it up pretty quickly and did not just hang out on the surface as I thought it might. It held 1/3 cup of water, but by then when tipped on side it would start to drip out, but that was 1/3 cup of liquid completely sucked in! I also tried one on, and will say it’s so much more comfortable than a disposable pad. It was super soft and the clips, I can tell, will be much nicer and more reliable than fighting with sticky tabbed wings! They will probably need to be changed more frequently than disposables and I will personally want to get a few longer sized options for heavier flows, but I say even before getting to “bleed” in them they are well worth it!

  43. New cloth pad user-I will never go back to store bought!

    Andrew.T

Excellent product. I had to get used to hand washing as I only do a full wash of my laundry once a week, but once you soak them, they clean up like magic. TMI, but I have a very heavy flow and I never felt like these pads were going to leak. I felt like I didn’t have to change them as often as my old, store bought pads. You’ll want to change them at least two to three times a day, soak in cold water (and I used a little bit of Dawn dish soap) and either pop them in the dryer or hang to dry. They do take a while to dry if you hang them, so keep that in mind if you need them urgently. The bag they came with is nice material, and I love that it comes with two snaps on each pad. They can move around a bit, so I recommend trying both snaps to see which one works best for you. Great product! Well worth the money as they will pay for themselves in about 4-5 periods.

  44. 4.0 out of 5 starsWill buy again BUT...

I use these for bladder problems. Due to nerve damage, I never know when my muscles are going to be weak and lose control of being able to ‘hold it’, until I can get to a bathroom.

    * They’re comfortable. The wrap & snap is a little snug but it holds the pad in place.
    * I’ve washed them twice so far and theres no sign of loose seams or rips. 👍
    * However, there is still a light urine smell after washing them in heavy duty cold water and drying them on low heat. They were still slightly damp after 20 minutes so I put them in for 6 minutes on high heat. Still a light noticeable smell. I’m happily single, so it’s not a big deal for me…. For some it may be.

I use all natural no perfume laundry soap. Maybe the light smell would go away if I used fabric softer or standard soap; but the main reason I bought them was for a more eco friendly & non-chemical alternative. I’ll buy again when needed though.

  45. Color me impressed.

    Tiara.X

I loved this product. I have heavy periods go through a cup in 2 hours heavy. This month I could not use my cup due to a medical procedure. I hate the kind you stick to underwear that is disposable I already transitioned to a cup and menstrual underwear. But due to this procedure I had to have something. No way was I going back to disposable pads. I chose these on a whim with some research. I’ve been impressed. They hold so much blood like I’m actually in shock. I have had zero leaks and they have not moved out of place once. I hate free bleeding due to my heaviness but with this I can. Very happy suspected endometriosis customer.

  46. Never going back

I did a lot of scouring for the best reusable pad and I feel these are it. The wing and snap design don’t move around on me and the pad itself is remarkably absorbent. Finally no itching or sweating against plastics that won’t break down in my lifetime; bye traditional pads. I also felt much less cramping this period – that’s not advertised BS. Hope you dig them as much as I did and we can stop making trash and absorbing harsh toxins. Cheers to our health

I have been learning about the chemicals in disposable pads and how they negatively impact the female body. I decided to try these but was highly skeptical. At first use they still looked grey even though I knew I was bleeding heavily. I went to rinse the pad out and I could not believe how much blood that pad was holding!

The thing I really loved was how SOFT and cozy it feels “down there”. What a difference that makes! Now I’m installing a clothesline in my tub so I can hang the pads to dry. Which by the way they dry overnight pretty much. The snaps work great to keep the pad in place and you don’t feel them on your thighs at all.

I wrote the company asking for LONGER pads and they said they hope to have them out this year. Oh, they also came really fast! I ordered some longer pads from another company but they will take 3 weeks to get here.

The carbon layer really does minimize odor too. I am a convinced skeptic! These pads really are great! And I feel good that I’m not filling the landfills with lots of plastic pads. They are a little pricey but when you consider you don’t have to buy endless bags of pads…. it’s keeper in the long run.

What people are saying about us..

At first, I bought just the large ones only. They are good. I heard amazing things what my friend said about the medium pads and they are RIGHT! The medium pads absorb ALOT of blood as well!

I have been using these medium pads for more than 2 years. They are even better than my handmade ones. In the end, I bought another set of medium flow pads!
